Carolina Souza joined Licks Attorneys’ Rio de Janeiro office as a legal intern in 2021 and became an Attorney at Law in 2023. Her practice focuses on complex cases in intellectual property, including patent consulting and litigation in the pharmaceutical and telecommunications industries. Before joining Licks Attorneys, Carolina gained experience as a legal intern at prestigious Brazilian law firms specialized in intellectual property.

Her academic and professional practices are focused on building, maintaining, and strengthening legal, political, economic, financial, and cultural connections between Latin America and East/Southeast Asia, as well as between Brazil and China.
