• ‍Dr. Carvalho participated as a researcher in the DORIS project, whose objective was to develop a prototype robotic system for remote inspection in industrial cluttered environments. This project received the 2017 Technology Innovation Award from Brazil’s National Oil Agency (ANP);
• He presented works at the International Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work in Design in China, in 2008 and 2010, and at the Brazilian Symposium on Telecommunications in 2013.
