BRPTO authorizes term restorations for California-based applicants affected by January 2025 wildfires

On Tuesday, April 15, the BRPTO published, in its Official Gazette #2832, Ordinance #08, of April 8, 2025, informing that requests for term restorations filed by California-based applicants will be accepted within 90 days from its publication, i.e., until July 14, 2025. The measure aims to mitigate the effects of the wildfires that devasted the US state in January of this year, and is based on the provisions of Article 2 of BRPTO’s Ordinance #49, of February 3, 2021.
