BRPTO opens call for contributions on Highly Renowned Trademarks

On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the BRPTO published the Call of Contributions #01, dated April 4, 2025, in its Official Gazette #2831. This call invites stakeholders to submit feedback and suggestions on draft guidelines for inclusion in the Trademark Manual, as well as a normative act. These texts are related to search parameters for stablishing a trademark’s “high renown” status in Brazil.

The full draft of the new regulations will be available on the BRPTO’s website and open for comments and suggestions for 40 days following its publication.
