7th SIPID – 20 years of the Brazilian IP Statute

The key topic is ‘The 20 years of Brazilian IP Statute,’ celebrated on September 20, at the headquarters of the Rio de Janeiro State Industry Federation (Firjan). Discussions will focus intellectual property matters, especially how the Brazilian IP Statute impacts research, development and manufacture of industrial products for key areas in Brazil, such as human health. The agenda includes talks and debates on key topics for Brazil’s social and economic development, which will be addressed while considering the current Brazilian and global crisis. The opening conference will be delivered by Ambassador and former Foreign Affairs and Defense Ministry Celso Amorim.
