In line with our policy of continuous improvement and investment in technology, Licks Attorneys acquires innovative audiovisual resources among Brazilian law firms with a Multi-Purpose Audiovisual Studio.
Specifically designed by a multidisciplinary team with extensive experience in film, television, office automation, and IT, the 45 m2 (147 sq. ft) studio, built in the Rio de Janeiro office, has innovative and modern resources for professionally capturing and editing both image and sound. With the most modern acoustic and digital treatment, this environment is capable of hosting and streaming several types of live contents, such as oral arguments, videoconferences, hearings, seminars, and webinars. The recording and editing resources can be used in e-briefs, training, lectures, podcasts, forensics, and institutional videos.
In addition to state-of-the-art resources and equipment, as well as a professional team for its operation, Licks Attorneys' Multi-Purpose Audiovisual Studio has resources specifically designed and developed to be used in the legal business, incorporating innovations in line with the opportunities arising from the 2020 pandemic.
The studio has two spaces with different interaction capabilities: a desk with a computer and a screen, onto which any content can be displayed on the background or in full screen for the viewers. The second space has a pulpit and a large touch screen monitor, an interactive whiteboard which allows the user to interface directly with the presented content. Both spaces can be covered by chroma-key backgrounds, which allow for different digital backdrops, projecting images as needed.
The room has three professional cameras and two purposefully modified teleprompters (TP), which can be used by the speaker for both reading text and interacting with participants in many videoconference formats. Users also have available feedback earphones, through which information can be received.
The lighting has a light grid composed of 15 reflectors operated by tablet, which allows the configuration of different luminosity for every possible scene and remotely controlling the optimal lighting for each situation.
The Multi-Purpose Audiovisual Studio at Licks Attorneys also received the same care with both physical and cyber security that permeates every office space. In addition to soundproofing and specific climate control for this type of environment, there is also a robust fire protection (smoke detectors and automated sprinklers) and the best Anti-Covid equipment (air purifier with HEPA filter and UV lamps in the air conditioning ducts) certified by the Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital and the Industry Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan). There was also a redistribution of electrical load to support the equipment, as well as new internet connections, including backup fiber optics and two dedicated links to avoid streaming interruptions.
The Licks Attorneys' Multi-Purpose Audiovisual Studio expands the office's audiovisual capacity, offering resources that are not available in the market to its members and clients.
