Abel Gomes, our partner and retired Appellate judge, will feature at the event “Artificial intelligence and Criminal Law” which will take place on November 17 and 18 at the School for Judges of the State of Rio de Janeiro (EMERJ) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (BRT).

Mr. Gomes will debate in the panel 'Categories of Traditional Criminal Law and Artificial Intelligence' on November 17, discussing issues related to the advent of autonomous technologies and criminal liability for non-humans, legal entities and individuals responsible for the production, programming and supplying of these technologies.
