The webinar will address the impact of data leaks from the standpoint of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). This issue is increasingly relevant.  Brazil recently experienced two successive leaks of personal data, considered the largest in its history. Data from millions of Brazilians were hacked and illicitly offered for sale on the dark web. Although the LGPD has been in force since last year, the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) will only begin to levy the penalties provided for in the law as of August this year.
