Marina Aguiar de Oliveira has been a patent specialist at Licks Attorneys’ São Paulo office since 2024, specializing in life sciences, pharmacy, and biotechnology within the patent department, with a primary focus on the judicial instances and litigation.

Ms. Oliveira holds a degree in pharmacy-biochemistry and is also an attorney at law. She completed graduate studies in civil procedural law at Mackenzie University and Economic Analysis of Law at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Economic Development at Unicamp. She is also a professor of the patent course at the Brazilian Association of Industrial Property Agents (ABAPI).

She has been actively involved in Industrial Property since 2010, with a particular emphasis on the fields of chemistry, pharmaceutics, cosmetics, and biotechnology. Her extensive experience spans various related activities, for instance, she has authored scientific articles published in specialized journals and has been a speaker at the V National Meeting of Industrial Economy and Innovation in 2021.
