Today, October 1, 2024, the BRPTO published a Notice in its Official Gazette #2804, informing that the ongoing problems with the exhibition of some industrial design still have not been resolved. The BRPTO expects to solve this problem by December 27, 2024.

The BRPTO also reported that issues in the BUSCAWEB system have not been resolved, and some data and documents related to industrial designs from the Hague System remain unavailable. The new deadline for resolving these issues is November 30, 2024.

On the other hand, the problems concerning the issuance of industrial design certificates have been resolved, with some of them having been issued since last September. The BRPTO expects to be up to date with this task by the end of 2024. The reissuance of duplicate registration certificates and corrections is scheduled to resume by the end of November.
