As per the notice published on the BRPTO’s website last week, please be aware that the patent office will be closed from June 5th to June 10th, 2019. Additionally, all its systems, including the search and e-filing systems will be out-of-service. Deadlines falling within said period will be automatically postponed, and the applicants will be able to comply with them from June 11th to June 14th, 2019.

Nevertheless, in order to safeguard our clients’ rights and interests, we suggest that instructions related to deadlines within said period are sent to us by June 3rd, 2019.
